Okay! I know you have all thought about rewards! What are they!  We want to know!
    Mine are:
Under 200: New running shoes (pink pumas)
190: Appletini body spray from Victoria's Secret
    180: A $5 iTunes giftcard
170: Enchanted apple bodyspray from Victoria's secret
160: A few new bras and panties
    150: New shirts and manicure
    140: New jeans and pedicure
130: A night dancing, a LITTLE black dress and a big hug!

I also hace a "no more piggy" bank with a dollar for every pound I lose to treat myself when I'm done!  I decorated it with visual motivators!  I know Manda has Chinese food and a massage!  What about you!  I am at 201 so hopefully by Friday I can get under 200!  You will see video of my victory dance.

New song from the many collections of T and Manda:

Don"t cha wish your girlfriend was fat like me?
Don't cha wish your girlfriend could eat like me?
    Don't cha?

    Scales are Vicious!

    Hey "Losers"!

Ok.  I had to write a blog about the dreaded scale.  When I began this journey I was using my mother's scale and i was losing weight.  Then, I wanted my own scale so I bought a digital, assuming they are more accurate.  Wrong!  At least this particular one was.  I thought I weighed 7 pounds more than I did.  It weighed Manda at 10 ponds more! So I was very unhappy.  But I went with it.  Then a friend suggested that I test it.  So I put my 10 pound dumbells on it and they didn't register.  Then I stepped on the scale with the 10 pound weights and that was innaccurate.  Now I am back to using my mom's scale which weighed the 10 pound dumbells right.

Team Taylor (http://teamtaylor7169.spaces.live.com/) is having the same trouble!  It's so frustrated to measure our progress on w scale when you could step on 7 different scales and see 7 different results!  So, even though it is important to weigh in weekly.  Please remember that progress shows up in inches lost, how your clothes fit, and how you feel.  Just remember that everyday you make a conscious decision to live healthier and focus on fitness, you are making progress.

Keep up the great work!  Don't get discouraged and just breathe!

    Love ya!

    Thanks a million

We love and appreciate all of the "Losers" out there who have made this such an incredible part of our lives.  This challenge has meant so much to us.  We have changed both physically and emotionally.  We are stronger, wiser, and happier.  Thank you for not judging us, for accepting us as we are and for being there for us through this. I still struggle with telling people how much I really weigh.  It's funny how I can tell all of you but not my husband, sister, and mother.  It will take time but I'm looking forward to it!

Today we went to the gym and Manda beat me! She got an incline of 13!  We did 25 min on the treadmill, elliptical, and bicycle.  We both tried the Captains chair.  HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA It was hysterical.  Really!  There are no words.  I am at a loss on how to describe it.  I didn't know how to do it at first so I did the advanced one.  It was hysterical.  Manda can do it, she's a snot face.  But, I love her.  She keeps me going and kicks my behind!

Well, I have to get dinner started.  I will blog more later.

    Love ya,
    T

    Stay focused

I know we can all get in ruts but it's important to stay positive and believe in your own abilities and inner strength.  That's what got all of you here.  Even if you were asked, you stuck with it and you made a change.  What have you done today to make you feel proud?

It's always rough and unfortunately, unless you're on the Biggest Loser, we can't make weight loss our number one priority. We have to fit it in with working full time, raising children, being a spouse or a student or whatever. There will be roadblocks but what seperated you from the rest is how determined you are to get past those hard times and re-focus on your goals.

Money is a factor. Here are the cons of healthy food:
    More expensive.
    Requires more preparation.
    Spoils quicker.

For those of us on a budget, or those who don't have time to prep healthy homecooked meals, there is still hope.

Try your local farmer's market for fresh produce. It's not just what you eat but how much you eat so always watch your portions. For quick healthy meals, Steamfresh vegetables are microwaved for about 5 minutes and are delicious. They come in blends (broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots) or singles (green beans.)

It's the small steps we make everyday that will get us to where we want to be and keep our hearts and mind healthy.

It's important to stay positive and don't beat yourself up. Find a support system. I am always available if you need me. Surround yourself with the things you love and remember it's always okay to have a bad day. (or week)

    Cheerleading Loser

    What's up "Losers"!

How have you all been?  We've had a couple of rough days but we're in the groove now!  Manda bought a pedometer and is going to start tracking her steps.  Yesterday was 801.  That was just during work.  We are movin and groovin baby!  Woo Hoo!  I am super pumped up because I feel like I'm really gonna do it this year.  Isn't it exciting to know we're changing our lives right now?  We rock- all us losers!  I am so proud of us!  All of you out there in Loser Land- when your feeling discouraged, when you don't lose or (gasp) gain, know that we are empowered, courageous people!  I mean, it takes guts to share our fears and be vunerable in front of the world.  And it takes a really great person to turn their dreams into realities! I'm proud of you guys.  Keep looking ahead.  Nothing's gonna stop us now!
