    Friday is Weigh Day!

    Hey "Losers"!
     
    Frustration is upon us.  Manda is up two pounds this week and I am down 1/2 pound.
    Manda 174.
    T 200
     
    What are we working so hard for?  To lose NOTHING!  Manda is dying for Chinese Food so she has been bustin' her b-bottom to lose.  She has watched her diet and even added an extra workout or two!  I have just accepted I will never be under 200, EVER!  This is why we need a personal trainer!  Obviously, we are doing something wrong.  I need a personal trainer, and a nutritionist, and a drill sargeant, and a plastic surgeon.
     
    I have a question...
     
    People always say it's a myth that weight training will just bulk up.  Bob and Jillian talk about the importance of weight training.  Manda and I have been using circuit machines and we have been increasing the weights as it gets easier.  Is that right or should we keep the weights low and increase the reps?  I'm lost.  I need guidance.  If I had a clue of what to do, I wouldn't fight so hard to win this thing.  But honestly, I am a complete fitness airhead.
     
    Another question...
     
    How do you know what your caloric intake should be?  Some websites tell me 1200, others say as much as 2300!  I know it's about calories in versus calories out, BUT it also has to do with where those calories come from right?  I mean, it's better to get my calories from fruit and veggies throughout the day than 1 double cheeseburger at lunch, right? 
     
    Another question...
     
    It is reccommended that the average person drinks 64 oz of water a day.  But we are also supposed to have 16 oz of milk.  What if I can't drink that much?  Should I make sure I get the milk in or skip the extra calories?
     
    One final question...
     
    Can I get a trainer now?

    Friday is Weigh Day

    Hey "Losers"!
     
    Today is Weigh Day.  I am now at 200.5, down 2.5lbs from last week.  Manda is up 1 pound from last week at 172.  But she is losing inches!  I think she's getting some muscles.  You should see her on the crunch machine!
     
    I am sorry I have been away this week.  It has been very hectic and emotional for me lately.  I am back and i promise to have some exciting things your way!

    Friday is Weigh Day!

    Hey "Losers"!
     
    It's Friday!  Manda lost 3 pounds so she's back at 171!  I gained three pounds, putting me at 203 but I am actually not as upset as you'd think.  I forgot all about weighing in this morning.  When Manda called me from work to remind me it was around 5:30 pm.  I ate fish, rice, fries and a klondike bar for dinner.  So, I probably didn't gain three pounds for real.  I am counting it though but out of curiosity, I might weigh in tomorrow and see what it has to say.
     
    Anyway, isn't Manda something?  She's such an incredible person and friend.  This experience has allowed her to finally see what the rest of us have always seen.  I am so grateful to MSN and the Biggest Loser for giving Manda the opportunity to find herself.  I honestly could cry right now just thinking of how she's grown since January 1st.  I'm so proud of her weight loss, but more importantly, her tremendous growth as an individual.  I just love that girl!  Thanks to all of you, your words and support have given her the courage to face defeat and beat it.  Her success is worth the world and she deserved it.
     
    Well, I have to go take care of the babies so I will see you in Loserland tomorrow!

    Friday is Weigh Day!

    Hey "Losers"!
     
    Well, let me do this like ripping of a band-aid:
    I lost 1 pound.  I am now at 200.
    Manda gained  3 pounds.  She is now at 174.
     
    We are not discussing it anymore!  We are both ready to quit.  We're not, just REALLY REALLY REALLY frustrated! 
     
    ONEderland is Neverland

    Let me tell you a story about a mythical place I like to call ONEderland. ONEderland is a place where your thighs don't rub together, your butt stops jiggling as soon as you stop walking, and there is no need for stretch elastic jeans. It is a land that will cause men to turn their heads and give an occasional wolf whistle. ONEderland is a place full of happy people who can breathe after running up the stairs. To get to this place you have to work hard, eat right and apparently some third aspect that I have yet to grasp. Once the trifecta is complete you get access to what I consider the most magical place on Earth. So, for all of you in the ONEderland parade. Please let me know what I am doing wrong cause I have yet to pass through the gates. I'm not sure if I'll ever get to.

    Today is weigh day!

    Hey "Losers"!
     
    It's Friday and you know what that means...weigh day! (Evil music plays in the background) Okay, Manda maintained this week.  She is not happy, she started the gym finally and was really upset that it didn't show it on the scale.  I tried to tell her that she will probably drop a big number next week, but she wasn't hearing it.
     
    I am now at 201.  I have lost 19 pounds so far and I want to get under 200 REALLY BAD!!!  I am getting impatient with these puny numbers! Well, we hit the gym today and I reached an 11.8 incline at 3.5 speed.  Woo Hoo!  We're going again tomorrow so hopefully by next Friday we will have some amazing news for ya! 
     
    I hope you are all doing good.  I should be updating the site with some new pics later on!

    Friday is Weigh Day!

    Hey "Losers"!
     
    Okay, Manda already told you she lost 3 pounds!  You should see her, she looks incredible.  She's a real hottie. (wolf whistles) Anyway, I lost....are you ready for this?...... I lost .5 pounds.  Yes, I lost half a pound.  Really, half a pound.  I don't even know how to explain it.  The feast is ruined.
     
    Well, I am tring to be upbeat so we are going to the gym tomorrow and I hope I can burn off some weight that's consuming me.  I want to put a piece of equipment on lay away.  I'm thinking an elliptical.  Any thoughts?
     
    I hope you guys are making some progress out there!  Keep positive.  It will happen.Red lips T

    Weigh in day already What?

    Hey guys so tommorow is weigh in day for me, and I'm freakin out. I really didn't have time to work out at all this week. I'm praying that I didn't gain. I won't be upset if I don't lose as long as I don't gain. I'm really struggling with this, I know its worth it and I'm not giving up. I just had a really bad day at work and home is not much better right now. I need to balance myself find my inner zen you know what I mean.I'm just so tiered all the time, at work , at home, after exercising, all the time. I don't know what to do I take a vitamin every day and eat right. What else can I do? Any suggestions will help please.

    Friday is Weigh Day!

    Today is Weigh Day....
     
    well, I lost 1 pound.  Not bad.  At least I didn't gain right? Right? Confused
     
    Manda lost 6 pounds!Open-mouthed  We are sooo happy.  Check out today's voice blog to hear a little bit about our weigh day and talk about competition.
     
    Considering we lost 7 pounds between us this week, that averages to a pound a day! So, even though Manda did all the work this week, I'll be happy with that.  Now I have to step up my game so that I can get to Onederland next week.  That's my next mini goal. 
     
    I am thinking about what I will reward myself with when I get under 200.  What do you think?  Let me know. Keep losing, we will be checking in with all of you and check back with us!

    Friday is Weigh Day!

    Today is friday and Friday is Weigh Day!  Are you ready for the results?  Drumroll please......

    Manda- 180 
     
    Yeah baby!  That's awesome!  Our total weight loss so far (together) is: 26 lbs!  We are the champions!  I'll write more later.. I gotta do a cardio victory dance!
